The Adult Stem Cell Technology Center

Boston Biomedical Research Institute's (BBRI) Adult Stem Cell Technology Center (ASCTC) pioneers a new approach to research and development collaboration.  The ASCTC has a mission to accelerate life sciences commercialization with an emphasis on medical advances.

Led by Dr. James Sherley, the ASCTC seeks to form partnerships with company technologists to further advance human cell production, biomarker discovery, and innovation in drug evaluation through the mass-production of normal functioning human cells.

The ASCTC at BBRI is helping to advance therapeutic development of human tissue stem cells, which could potentially lead to better treatments for a number of diseases.
