BBRI is a modern 60,000 sq. ft. research facility which is specially designed with an open floor plan in the laboratories, common spaces for interaction, offices for scientists and core equipment space to foster interactive and collaborative research. 

One of BBRI's many strengths is its success in obtaining the state-of-the-art instrumentation through shared-instrumentation grants from federal agencies and by raising philanthropic funds.  Much of this success can be attributed to the collaborative nature of the Institute. 

The collegial atmosphere of BBRI extends outside of its Institute walls.  BBRI openly shares its instrumentation and expertise with other researchers.
